 You found me in the shadows all dark and full of woe.

In a place that showed nothing but black  steeped into my soul.

You found me afraid of the me I had been molded into.

I felt like a frightened child afraid to cry out Enough.

 You found me broken in pieces shed throuout the years.

No glue seemed strong enough to seal those lines of pain.

You found me at my lowest I could barely lift  me head.

Thinking maybe I would have been better off dead.

You told me I was a  Radiant light that shines so brightly.

You told me I was strong that all I had to do was look  in me.

You showed me all my pieces made up my beautiful heart.

Sleepless Hours

 Sleepless hours awake trying not to overthink this life.

How I wish you were lying beside me your hand across my lap.

Would you awaken to keep me company sweetly calming me down.

We would lay in each other's arms talking till dawn arrives.

Maybe we'd  make sweet hard love instead lay there satisfied. 

Hours laying there feeling you near not so alone.

Quietly talking about busy tomorrow's that lay ahead.

All those  mundane daily things that need to be done

Planning in the night your head on my chest holding you close.

You can hear my heart beating slowly caressing your ear.

Sleepless  hours  cherished time with you beside me in the  night.
