This isn't the fairytale ending I thought I would find.
Not that I was looking for it.
It's not the way you see in the movies it's raw it's real.
We joke about other times other places, our aching bones keeping us up at night.
It was never too late it is just as it should have been when it was supposed to be.
Missed moments live in our heartache but love eases the pain to a dull roar.
We had to discover ourselves that those endings shouldn't matter at all.
There will be no epilogue for this no last act to this story.
